STANDING MEETINGS: Meetings are held in the conference room located in City Hall, 401 Davis Avenue, Elkins WV 26241 Water Committee-2nd Wednesday each month-4:00 pm Street Committee-1st Wednesday each month-4:00 pm Sanitary Committee-1st Tuesday each month-10:00 am Public Safety-2nd Wednesday each month-3:00 pm Personnel-1st Tuesday each month-4:30 pm Enforcement Agency-3rd Wednesday each month-10:00 am Parks & Recreation-3rd Thursday each month-12 noon   Elections The common council shall issue the call for each elections not later than January 7 next preceding election on the first Tuesday of March every two years there shall be elected by qualified voters of the City a Mayor and one member of City Council from each ward. The term of Mayor is 2 years, City Council is a 4 year term. The office commences April 1.
