City Hall News: Week of March 21, 2022
Meeting this week are the Elkins Sanitary Board, the Elkins Water Board, and the Elkins Common Council. Utility bills are due Monday.
The Sanitary Board meets Monday at 2 p.m., its new regular meeting time on third Mondays. On its agenda are an amendment to the engineering agreement, proposal for updating the long-term control plan for combined sewer overflows, a discussion of drainage and sewage issues on Sylvester Drive, and a proposal from Griffith and Associates for accounting and consulting services.
On Tuesday at 9 a.m., council meets in special session to consider the proposed FY 2023 budget.
On Tuesday at 4 p.m., the Water Board meets to discuss using ARPA funds for a new computerized control system for the water treatment plant, hear an update on adoption of the city personnel policy, review invoices, and consider a proposal from Griffith and Associates for accounting and consulting services.
To avoid penalties, utility bills and in-city Fire & Rescue Service Fee payments are due Monday.
