Emergency Text and Email Notifications

One way to receive emergency notifications is to use the below form to sign up for public safety email and text messages through the Nixle service.
These Nixle alerts will appear to arrive from the Randolph County Office of Emergency Management and 911 (also known as the Randolph County Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, or RCDHSEM). However, you must sign up below even if you have already signed up for the main Randolph County list.
By signing up using the below form, you are only signing up for alerts specific to the City of Elkins. These messages will be preceded by the word “Elkins.” To sign up for other countywide alerts, please contact RCDHSEM.
