9/16: Water off Lavallette, Ward
Shutting down water for Lavallette and Ward Avenue customers for repair of a damaged water line.
9/15: Water leak at Gilmore & Pleasant
City of Elkins Water System employees are repairing a leak in Third Ward at Gilmore & Pleasant at this time. Customers in the area may experience low or no pressure until repairs are complete.
Week of 9/13: Street Closures
Road closures for sewer/stormwater separation project, week of September 13:
+ Monday-Wednesday: 14th Street from Lavalette Avenue toward Taylor Avenue
+ Wednesday-Thursday: Lavalette Avenue from 15th Street toward 16th Street
9/13 Water Outage: D&E Area
Water off Monday (9/13) starting 8 p.m. for hydrant replacement on D&E campus. Affected area: D&E campus, Patricia Avenue, Grandview Avenue, Spruce Street, Sycamore Street, and Harpertown Road.
9/9: Water leaks Woodford; W. Main
9/9: Randolph and 4th Closure
Friday 9/9: Mountaineer Gas repairing lines near Randolph and Fourth. Expect delays/choose alternate route. More here.
9/10: Yard Waste Recycling Reopened
The yard-waste dropoff site on Jones Drive has reopened.

Payment drop box location change
Due to the City Hall Parking Lot Project work, the payment drop box has been moved to Fourth Street. The box is located at the yellow curb line just beyond the handicap parking spot next to City Hall on Fourth Street.
