Earlier this week, the City of Elkins learned that some residents who have recently received street sweeping and parking tickets may have been charged a late fee of $20.00 on top of the citation. While this situation has been resolved as of press time, know that if this situation applies to you, please leave a voice mail with the municipal court judge at 304.636.1414, ext.1529. State the ticket number and specify that the late fee is the reason for your call—the judge will enter the system and remove that late fee from your ticket. Thank you for your patience while the City resolves this issue.

More about the municipal court is here: https://cityofelkinswv.com/departments/municipal-court.

Utility and in-city fire fee bills were mailed July 31 and are due August 19. Utility shutoffs are scheduled for August 5 for unpaid water bills that were due July 20.

To pay bills in-person: 10 Eleventh St., Suite 3, Elkins, West Virginia, 26241.
