Exciting evidence of renewal is found in the historic Elkins Rail Yard, located in the heart of downtown.
The Division of Highways will begin construction to replace the Crystal Springs Bridge on WV92 between Elkins and Aggregates from the Old Route 33 Crystal Springs Exit (WV92) off Corridor H (US33) on Tuesday, January 24th. Traffic will be detoured along CR11 and CR14 through Crystal Springs. Work is scheduled to continue for approximately 10 months. Major delays are to be expected. The public is encouraged to use the Elkins Exit (US33E, US219S, US250S) off of Corridor H to bypass the construction work.
The Elkins-Randolph County Landfill is closed.
