City Hall News: Week of July 6, 2025

Elkins, WV—July 3, 2025: The Planning Commission meeting is Thursday, July 10, at 3:30 p.m. at the RCDA – West Virginia Wood Technology Center, 10 Eleventh Street. This committee will review, discuss, and consider a draft comprehensive plan for the City of Elkins.

City Council will meet Thursday, July 10, at 7:00 p.m. at the Phil Gainer Community Center, 142 Robert E. Lee Ave. Extension. As of press time, the agenda has not been published. City Hall remains closed to the public for renovation and repairs until further notice. All departments are operating and available for service as usual, but in-person appointments will require advance arrangements. All City meetings occur at the Phil Gainer Community Center (142 Robert E. Lee Ave. Extension) in Elkins unless otherwise stated.

Utility and in-city Fire & Rescue Fee bills have been mailed and are due July 20. Utility shutoffs are scheduled for Tuesday, July 8 for unpaid water bills that were due June 20.

FY 2025 2nd quarter B&O bills have been mailed and are due July 31.

Payments for utility bills and court payment plans or citations can be made online, by mail, in-person, or by using our drop-off box.
