Sign Permits

As of council’s adoption of an updated zoning code in August 2022, certain categories of signs (including billboards) are no longer permitted in Elkins. A permit is required prior to the display and erection of most permanent and temporary signs, with certain exceptions. Dilapidated and disused signs must be removed. See zoning code section 21-23.
