City Hall News: Week of November 13, 2023
Elkins W. Va., November 9, 2023: The Municipal Properties Committee, the Finance Committee, and City Council will meet the week of November 13.
The Municipal Properties Committee meets Monday at 11:00 a.m. Items on the agenda include: architect’s update concerning sanitation garage; architect’s update on city hall HVAC project; request from RCDA for endorsement of additional industrial Access Road Grant concerning Riverbend Road; and a discussion on the location of the recycling site.
The Finance Committee meets Monday at 1:00 p.m. Items on the agenda include: budget revisions; funding for resolution of eminent domain case related to construction of water plant; Randolph County EMS funding request; and recycling funding.
City Council meets Thursday at 7:00 p.m. The agenda may be adjusted through Tuesday. Items on the agenda include: adoption of WENS mass notification system; adoption of DocuSign document management software; budget revisions in the general fund, fire department fund, and sanitation fund; resolution of an eminent domain case related to the construction of the water plant; and endorsement of an Industrial Access Road Grant related to the expansion of the industrial park.
First Due Fire Fee billing will be sent out on November 15.
