City Hall News: Week of November 6, 2023
Elkins W. Va., November 3, 2023: The Public Safety Committee, the Rules & Ordinances Committee, and the Planning Commission will meet the week of November 6.
The Public Safety Committee meets Monday at 10:00 a.m. to hear reports and updates from public safety officials.
The Rules & Ordinances Committee meets Monday at 3:30 p.m. Items on the agenda include purchasing policy ordinance and Rules & Ordinances Committee protocol for proposed new ordinances.
The Planning Commission meets Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in special session to commence the process of updating the city’s comprehensive plan. The agenda may be adjusted through Monday.
Utility shutoffs will be on November 7 for delinquent utility bills.
The Tree Board is looking for input from citizens regarding their Urban Forest Management Plan. Community members are invited to voice their insights, priorities, and suggestions by taking the survey.
