City Hall News: Week of September 11th, 2023
The Finance and Public Safety Committees have a joint meeting Monday at 12:00 p.m. Items on the agenda include: Funding request from Randolph County Emergency Medical Services; update on demolitions in the area; reports from the Elkins Police Department and Elkins Fire Department; and information on dilapidated properties throughout Elkins.
The Municipal Properties Committee meets Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. to review proposed plans for the All Veterans Memorial.
The Planning Commission meets Thursday at 3:30 p.m. to continue work on updating the city’s comprehensive plan. The commission will also work on zoning excess land previously considered part of a railroad right of way.
All meetings are open to the public and, unless otherwise stated, held at Elkins City Hall (401 Davis Avenue). Find agendas and other meeting information here:
